Saved Prompts – Quickly Reuse Your Custom Queries

Saved Prompts – Reuse and Customize with Ease

With Saved Prompts, you can now easily save and reuse your frequently used queries. Whether it's for generating test cases, explaining code, or refactoring methods, saved prompts allow you to instantly access past queries for faster responses.

How it works:

  • To save a prompt, click the Saved Prompt icon located before the prompt message.
  • The system will automatically generate a title and tags for your prompt, but you can edit the title to suit your needs.
  • To quickly access your saved prompts, press # or click on the # icon in the chat window. Simply click any saved prompt to reuse it. The system will auto-fill the details and generate a response.
  • To manage your saved prompts, click the Saved Prompts icon in the top navigation bar. In the Prompts tab, you can view all saved prompts and choose to edit or delete them as necessary.

How it works:

  • To start a new chat session, simply click the New Chat option in the top navigation bar.
  • Access saved conversations by clicking the History icon in the top navigation.
  • To pin important chats, click on the pin icon, and it will keep those conversations at the top for easy reference.

File Context – Effortlessly Reference Your Codebase

File Context helps you instantly integrate project files into your conversations, providing a more relevant and tailored response.

How to use it:

  • Press "@" in the chat window and select the Files option to search and add files from your current project.
  • You can reference multiple files at once, and the system will automatically pull in context from those files to generate more accurate, relevant responses.
  • With this feature, the AI understands the context of your entire project, streamlining your development workflow and minimizing back-and-forth.

File Context enhances efficiency by making sure all responses are aligned with your code, reducing manual error and saving time.

Terminal Context – Efficient Debugging with Contextual Help

Terminal Context makes debugging quicker and more intuitive by letting you pass terminal outputs directly into the chat. This means you can get more accurate responses to errors and issues faster.

How to use it:

  • Press "@" in the chat window and select the Terminal option to automatically share the last executed terminal command along with its output.
  • This feature integrates the terminal context directly into the chat, helping the system generate responses based on the output of previous commands.

Editor Quick Actions allow you to access essential features directly from the editor, making tasks like code optimization, test generation, and documentation easy and intuitive.

Available Spells:

  • Optimize: Enhance code efficiency and resolve logical issues with just a click.
  • Unit Test: Automatically generate unit tests for the selected method, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Doc: Create detailed function documentation to keep your codebase clear and well-documented.
  • Explain: Get an in-depth explanation of your code, making it easier to understand for new developers or when revisiting older code.
  • Add to Chat: Share method code directly with the AI for custom queries and context.

These quick actions ensure developers spend less time navigating between different tools and more time on meaningful development tasks. Everything happens right in the editor, making your coding workflow seamless and efficient.
